Something we hear quite a bit from our clients is how hard it is to find inspiration photos of formal short hair styles for weddings. Social media tends to focus on updos, and even when searching for the term formal short hair style, it often shows images of people with shoulder length hair. So when Tanda came to us for her wedding preview with a trendy short haircut, we were excited to put our styling skills to work.

Renee chose to curl Tanda’s hair to give it a bit of volume paired with sideswept bangs, while pulling it back on the other side with a beautiful hairpiece. It was the perfect formal touch! Christy focused on giving Tanda dewy skin with touches of peach and blush pink to enhance her bridal glow.

As a team of professional hair and makeup artists, it is always our goal to help our brides look their best on their special day. Caitlin, one of our recent brides, was no exception. She came to us with a vision of Hollywood waves and soft glam makeup, and we were thrilled to bring her dream to life.

On the day of her wedding at the Barn at Wight Farm in Sturbridge, our stylist Renee got straight to work, carefully styling and molding her beautiful strawberry blonde hair into perfectly formed waves. Caitlin’s stunning hair was a wonderful complement to her gorgeous gown.

When it comes to makeup, we believe that less is often more. Our goal is to enhance a bride’s natural beauty rather than mask it. For Caitlin, Christy went for a soft glam look that highlighted her features without going overboard. A subtle shimmery eye paired with a rosy lip was the perfect pairing to her glamorous waves.

Caitlin was thrilled with the final result! She looked absolutely stunning and radiated confidence as she walked down the aisle to meet her groom.
