Gabrielle and Trish had a beautiful sunny day for their wedding at Colonial Hall in Salem, MA last month, and I had the pleasure of doing makeup for both of these ladies.
Gabrielle wanted a strong eye, but wasn’t comfortable with heavy eye shadow, so I sculpted her eyes lightly and did a prominent upwards winged liner paired with a rosy blush and lip. How gorgeous is she?!
Trish, who never wears makeup, wanted the equivalent of grooming services for herself, so I did some airbrushing to even out her skin tone and hide imperfections, a bit of bronzer for color, and a light bit of coloring on her brows and lashes to deepen them for photos. She looked totally natural but flawless!
Our hair designer Chelsea did Gabrielle’s hair in a gorgeous curled bun, which looked stunning when paired with her feathered birdcage veil.
For her bridesmaids, Gabrielle requested her ladies have a bit of a 1920’s look to them, but sticking with a bridal feel. She wanted a softer eye on them as well, so I opted for a strong red lip on each of her girls. Chelsea created a bridal updo for them that incorporated finger waves swept into a bun in the back. They looked fantastic!
Here are a few more images that show off the looks we created for these incredible women.
We also received this wonderful review from Gabrielle the other day, which truly made my heart sing. I do what I do not only because I do it well, but because it makes me feel good to know I make others feel good.
Thank you Gabrielle and Trish, for choosing us to play a little part in your big day! xoxo
