It’s that time of year here in New England when the temps have gotten colder and the only foliage left behind on the trees are the burnt umber-hued oak leaves. Autumn is always a popular time of year for weddings here in Massachusetts due to our brightly colored fall foliage, but November tends to get a bit quieter as the leaves drop. This late autumn wedding I’m about to share with you shows just how beautiful a November wedding in New England can be! Golden grasses and shades of rust in the trees lends for a perfect backdrop for warm neutral-toned eyes and a gorgeous coral lip. Gabrielle and Trish had a beautiful sunny day for their wedding at Colonial Hall in Salem, MA last month, and I had the pleasure of doing makeup for both of these ladies.

Gabrielle wanted a strong eye, but wasn’t comfortable with heavy eye shadow, so I sculpted her eyes lightly and did a prominent upwards winged liner paired with a rosy blush and lip. How gorgeous is she?!

Trish, who never wears makeup, wanted the equivalent of grooming services for herself, so I did some airbrushing to even out her skin tone and hide imperfections, a bit of bronzer for color, and a light bit of coloring on her brows and lashes to deepen them for photos. She looked totally natural but flawless!
