Quinceañera Hair and Makeup | Sweet 15 | Aladdin-themed

When our past bride Nilsa reached out to us about providing hair and makeup for her daughter’s Sweet 15 Quinceañera celebration last month, and told us it was going to be Aladdin-themed, let’s just say we were a little bit excited! Any time we get to do something creative, it makes us happy! And what beauty team wouldn’t love turning a 15-year-old girl into a Disney princess?!

Here are some sneak peek photos that we took just as we finished up with her hair & makeup at our studio. We went with a strong Middle-eastern dramatic eye look, paired with a long signature Jasmine braid. She looked beautiful!

Makeup and Hair for Emily’s Beautiful CT Wedding | Mansion at Bald Hill | Woodstock, CT

One of the best things about working in the wedding industry is having the opportunity to see all the amazing details brides put into their big day. I see so many beautiful things! Of course, this also makes it difficult, as I often find myself wishing I had done things differently for my own wedding. It’s as though I’m constantly planning wedding #2 in my head. Ha ha! (My husband will be thrilled to know this…) Emily’s wedding in the quiet corner of northeast Connecticut is a perfect example of that. The Clark Chapel at the Pomfret School where she said her vows? Stunning! (Seriously, how did I not know about this place?) And her dress…. Absolutely gorgeous.
