I am so excited to share these gorgeous images and video from Catherine and Rachel’s wedding last year! These two beautiful women celebrated their marriage at Harrington Farm in Princeton, MA. Our team worked with a large number of people – 9 for makeup and 14 for hair – so it was a busy but wonderful day! Here are some of my favorite images, showing the boho-chic hair & makeup styles our artists Alexandra, Leanne, Chelsea and Renee created for this special day.

Makeup for Christmas Wedding | Publick House Historic Inn | Sturbridge, MA

Since it’s just after the holiday, and there’s a forecast for snow in the next couple days, I figured today would be a perfect time to share images from Lindsay’s beautiful Christmas wedding, held at the Publick House Historic Inn here in Sturbridge, MA. We’ve had the pleasure of working numerous weddings for this group of ladies. Years ago one was a bridesmaid in a wedding I did, and then one of them was getting married… and then more got married… and we were honored to be the ones to provide bridal beauty services for all of their events! (How much do I love that?!)

For her own wedding, Lindsay opted for a natural bridal makeup look, which looked gorgeous on her. I added a hint of shimmer to her eyes and cheekbones to give off a bit of glow and reflect the lights used as decor around her reception. The whole thing looked magical!

Bridal Hair and Makeup for Berkshires Wedding | Cranwell Resort | Lenox, MA

Even though it doesn’t feel like it lately here in Massachusetts, fall is coming to an end and winter is just around the corner! Autumn weddings are very popular in the Berkshires due to the gorgeous foliage and the near perfect weather New England offers. This beautiful wedding held at the Cranwell Resort in Lenox, MA, with images by Brad Ross Photography, just happens to be one of those.

Our makeup artist Betsy and hair designer Renee met with bride Rebekah for her bridal beauty prep in the bridal suite of this spectacular resort.

Betsy created our signature “bridal smoky eye” on Rebekah, paired with a pretty pink gloss and sculpted cheeks, while Renee smoothed out her curls for a sleek chin-length bob. As you can see in the image above on the right, Rebekah has natural tight curls in her hair, which have been completely smoothed out in the image on the left.

Hair and Makeup for Lindsay’s Spring Floral Wedding | The Collection at Wight Farm | Sturbridge, MA

We love making people look pretty for their weddings, and we especially love when we get to work with the same people again and again! One of the biggest compliments we could ever receive is to have a bridesmaid from a prior wedding hire us to do the hair and makeup for their own wedding. Is there any better way to say “Hey, I LOVED what you did, I want you to do it for me again!” That is exactly the case for our beautiful bride, Lindsay! We did hair and makeup for Lindsay’s sister’s wedding a few years ago, as well as one of her best friends last year, so I was SO happy when she contacted us for her own wedding earlier this year. Lindsay has an amazing sense of fashion (she has a design background and owns her own hat company, French Knot), so I was excited to see the details from her wedding at The Collection at Wight Farm here in Sturbridge.

Lindsay’s wedding had a very fun, casual, outdoorsy feel to it. She opted to wear her hair in a side-swept ponytail, while keeping her makeup pretty natural with a pop of color on her lips. She looked gorgeous!

Here in central Massachusetts, rustic barn venues are kind of our thing. Therefore, hair and makeup for rustic barn venues is really OUR thing. Loose waves. Relaxed chignons. Soft, pretty makeup. Romantic Wedding Makeup | Willowdale Estate | Topsfield, MA

Our company tends to attract a certain type of bride. Beautiful. Smart. Sweet. Dream brides, honestly. And this beauty fits the bill perfectly! Jill was referred to us by one of our favorite photographers (and one who also helped photograph this wedding), Lynn Quinlivan. Right away Lynn told me something along the lines of “You are going to love Jill. She’s the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. And she’s beautiful.” And she was absolutely right.

I used a palette of nude eye shadows on Jill’s eyes, paired with black liner and a lush set of false lashes to accent them. Lips and blush were a soft blush pink shade, which coordinated beautifully with her bridesmaids dresses and flowers. The overall look was soft, fresh, and romantic!

Here are some images from Jill’s gorgeous wedding at the Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA. I had to include a few shots of things that are completely unrelated to makeup just because everything was so pretty! I had a hard time narrowing down the photos as well. Just too much beauty! Makeup for NYE Wedding | Zukas Hilltop Barn | Spencer, MA

This year’s bridal season has been absolutely wonderful and of course, incredibly busy! This means I haven’t had much time to keep up on blogging lately, so I’m trying to play catch up now that the season is starting to slow down a bit. I wanted to share some photos from Shelli’s New Year’s Eve wedding at Zukas Hilltop Barn in Spencer, MA. Hey, better late than never, right? 😉

I gave Shelli my signature eye look – what I like to call the “bridal smokey eye”. It’s not a true smokey eye at all, but more of a contoured eye with a subtle smokiness to it. It looks gorgeous in person, and photographs beautifully and naturally, which is key to being able to look back on your photos decades from now and not feel that your makeup has “dated” them. This was paired with a soft nude pink lip and a pop of peach blush on her cheeks
